Terms of Service

Using the service means accepting these terms. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

What the service does

You send a URL; the service fetches those pages and returns structured rows. For sites on a recognised platform it reads a published catalogue. For anything else a language model works out a set of CSS selectors once, which is then reused.

What you pay for

Credits are prepaid and spent per unit of work: one credit per row delivered, five per page rendered in a browser, three hundred to compile a site not seen before. Current prices are on the home page and at GET /v1/credits/packs.

Credits do not expire and are not transferable between accounts.
Each account receives a monthly allowance of free credits. It is granted once per email address per month, and may be changed or withdrawn.
A request that fails through our fault is not charged. Work that was genuinely performed is charged even if the result was empty — for example a page that was fetched and parsed but contained nothing matching your fields.
Your balance and its history are visible at GET /v1/usage.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe acts as the merchant of record for this service, which means Stripe is the seller on your receipt and is responsible for charging and remitting VAT and sales tax in your jurisdiction. We never see or store your card details.

How you may use it

The service fetches pages from third-party websites on your instruction. You are responsible for what you point it at.

The crawler identifies itself honestly and obeys robots.txt. Do not ask us to disable that for a site you do not own or have written permission for.
Do not use it to collect personal data about individuals, to circumvent access controls or paywalls, or for anything unlawful where you are.
Do not use it in a way that overloads a target site. Rate limits exist and may be tightened without notice.
Do not resell raw access to the API as your own service.

We may suspend or revoke a key that is being used this way. Where a suspension is our decision rather than your breach, unused credits are refunded.

What we do not promise

This is a small service run by one person. Read that plainly:

There is no uptime guarantee and no service level agreement.
Websites change without warning. A recipe that worked yesterday may return nothing today; the service re-compiles when it detects this, but extraction quality is not guaranteed for any particular site.
Some sites block automated visitors. The service reports that honestly rather than working around it.
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Your data and ours

Rows extracted for you are yours. The selector recipes the service compiles are ours, are cached per site, and are reused across all customers — that is what keeps the price low, and it means compiling a site benefits everyone who asks for it afterwards. Changes and ending

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Material changes will be announced on this page before taking effect. You may stop using the service at any time and request a refund of unused credits under the refund policy. We may close an account for breach of these terms, refunding unused credits unless the breach was fraud.

Spanish law applies, and the courts of Spain have jurisdiction, without removing any protection available to you under the law of your own country of residence.
